According to the statement of Mikhail Oseyevsky, president of "Rostelecom," to journalists, the company particularly observes a significant increase in interest in connecting to landline communication in large cities where there are occasional interruptions in mobile communications. He made this remark in the corridors of the congress of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Russia held in Moscow.
According to him, users increasingly appreciate wired communication as a guaranteed and quality means of communication that should be present in every home.
He noted that precise growth figures are not yet disclosed, but demand is consistently recorded and covers various regions of Russia.
