Alan Osmond, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) about 40 years ago, stayed away from the stage for a long time.
His brother and group member Merrill Osmond posted on social media that he had met Alan two days before his death. He noted that his brother entrusted him to continue the musical heritage and keep their creations alive.
Alan Osmond gained worldwide fame in the 1970s with "The Osmonds," the group he created and led together with his brothers.
