The governor of Balıkesir province in Turkey, İsmayıl Ustaoğlu, confirmed the fact and stated that the crashed aircraft belonged to the 19th Main Jet Base Command.
According to him, the crash occurred around 00:50 local time while the plane was carrying out a planned mission.
