A mountaineer who fell from a height of 152 meters in the USA survived miraculously.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred in the state of California.
Two brothers climbed Baxter Mountain as part of a multi-day hike. One of them suddenly slipped when the snow beneath his foot collapsed, and he rolled down the steep slope, falling approximately 152 meters. As a result, the mountaineer suffered multiple fractures but managed to survive.
Immediately after the incident, his brother descended to his side and called for help. Rescue teams were able to reach the area only in the morning hours. The mountaineers had to spend the night on the mountain in harsh cold conditions.
Later, both individuals were taken to a nearby hospital. No additional information has been provided about their current condition.
