In the USA, a woman named Kayla Alvarenqa has been sentenced to life imprisonment for organizing the killing of a person who had fallen asleep in a car in front of her house.
Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred in March 2022.
29-year-old Linver Ortis Ponse parked his car in a public area and fell asleep there. The 19-year-old girl, who was the homeowner, demanded that he leave the area, but he refused. Afterwards, the woman called her acquaintances. They beat the man and took over his car.
The victim tried to run to a nearby gas station to report to the police, but lost his life as a result of the criminals' attack. After the incident, the car was abandoned in a forested area, and the money was shared.
The court sentenced Alvarenqa, as the organizer, to unconditional life imprisonment. The trial for one of the other accused is ongoing, while the underage participants have already confessed to their guilt.
