An 89-year-old woman in Beijing, China, accidentally locked herself in an apartment on the 27th floor and could not contact anyone because her phone was not with her. She climbed out of the window and fell six floors down the facade of the building.

The woman got stuck on the 21st floor. Police and firefighters who arrived at the scene rescued her: they tied a safety rope, gave her water and outerwear, then used special equipment to get her back into the apartment.
The woman only experienced fear and fatigue and did not sustain any physical injuries. Her family thanked the rescue team for the timely intervention.
