8-year-old football player of the "Torino" academy, İsmayıl Pistis, tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident.
This was reported by "Sky Sport Italia".
The incident occurred on Easter day, April 5. Pistis was riding a motorcycle with his father Marco on the Turin–Piacenza highway when a car collided with them. After the impact, they lost control and crashed into a protective barrier.
The young footballer’s father was hospitalized with minor injuries. However, it was not possible to save the child's life. The police are currently investigating the incident.
The statement from the "Torino" club says: "He was a happy child who always smiled, bringing joy and carefreeness to everyone. İsmayıl was always polite, neat, and respectful". /publik.az
