According to Medianews.az, the young footballer scored 2 magnificent goals in the match, one of which was from a free kick. With this goal, he earned the title of the youngest player to score a free kick goal in the Champions League qualifying rounds.
With this achievement, Arda Güler broke a record held by Alessandro Del Piero for more than 30 years. He also broke the record previously held by Mesut Özil as the youngest player to score a free kick goal in the Champions League for "Real Madrid."
Additionally, Arda Güler became one of the rare footballers in "Real Madrid" history to score 2 or more goals from outside the penalty area in a Champions League match.
