"Eurovision 2026" performers FINAL LIST

The Eurovision.com website has published the final list of performers who will participate in the "Eurovision 2026" international song contest here.

Medianews.az reports that 35 countries will participate in the contest hosted by the Austrian capital Vienna. In the first semi-final (May 12), Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Croatia, Israel, Sweden, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Serbia, Greece will participate, and in the second semi-final (May 14), Albania, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Armenia, Switzerland, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Romania, Ukraine will take part.

From each semi-final, 10 spots are available for the final. Germany, Austria, Great Britain, France, and Italy will join the competition in the final (May 16).

Azerbaijan will be represented by Cəmilə Həşimova.

The country has previously participated in 17 "Eurovision" contests. In 2008, Elnur Hüseynov and Samir Cavadzadə placed 8th; in 2009, Aysel Teymurzadə and Araş placed 3rd; in 2010, Səfurə Əlizadə placed 5th; in 2011, Nigar Camal and Eldar Qasımov secured 1st place; in 2012, Səbinə Babayeva placed 4th; in 2013, Fərid Məmmədov placed 2nd; in 2014, Dilarə Kazımova placed 22nd; in 2015, Elnur Hüseynov placed 12th; in 2016, Səmra Rəhimli placed 17th; in 2017, Diana Hacıyeva placed 14th; in 2019, Çingiz Mustafayev placed 8th; in 2021, Samirə Əfəndi placed 20th; in 2022, Nadir Rüstəmli placed 16th.

In 2018, Aysel Məmmədova; in 2023, Tural and Turan Bağmanov; in 2024, Fəxri İsmayılov and İlkin Dövlətov; and in 2025, the group "Mamaqama" did not pass the semi-finals.

The public broadcasting organization – the "Eurovision" contest, which is a project of the European Broadcasting Union, has seen Ireland and Sweden each win 7 times since its inception in 1956; the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg, and Great Britain have won 5 times each; Israel 4 times; Switzerland, Denmark, Italy, Austria, Norway, and Ukraine 3 times each; Spain and Germany 2 times each; and Monaco, Belgium, Yugoslavia, Estonia, Latvia, Turkey, Greece, Finland, Serbia, Russia, Azerbaijan, and Portugal have each won once.
