An 11-day holiday has begun in Azerbaijan.
This year, due to the Novruz and Ramadan holidays, there will be 11 consecutive non-working days in the country in March.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers' decision, March 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 of 2026 are Novruz holidays. March 21 and 22 fall on Saturday and Sunday. Based on the requirements of the Labor Code, March 25 and 26 will be non-working days.
March 20 and 21 are also Ramadan holidays. According to the Labor Code, if the Ramadan holiday coincides with another non-working holiday, the next working day is considered a day off. Thus, according to the Labor Code requirements, the next working days, March 27 and 30, will also be non-working days.
Therefore, due to the Novruz and Ramadan holidays, March 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 30 are non-working days.
