In the first quarter of 2026, more than 76.5 percent of Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover was accounted for by 10 countries: Italy, Turkey, China, Russia, the USA, Germany, Georgia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria.
Medianews.az reports, citing the State Customs Committee, that among export destinations, Italy, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, the Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, and Portugal have emerged prominently.
The ranking in imports has been officially established as follows: China, Russia, Turkey, the USA, Iran, Germany, Italy, Belarus, Ukraine, Japan.
In January-March, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations with 157 countries, recording exports worth 5 billion 402.2 million dollars and imports worth 4 billion 4.6 million dollars.
