The Ministry of Emergency Situations' "112" hotline received information about a traffic accident occurring on the Baku-Quba highway passing through the Hacı Zeynalabdin settlement area, where a citizen was trapped inside a vehicle.
According to the news provided to Lent.az by the Ministry, rescuers from the MES Sumgayit Regional Center were immediately dispatched to the scene in connection with the report.
While assessing the operational situation at the scene, it was determined that a traffic accident occurred as a result of the collision between a "Man" brand truck and a "Howa" brand truck, and the citizen in the "Man" truck sustained various degrees of bodily injuries and was trapped inside the deformed vehicle.
The rescuers, with the help of special rescue equipment, saved the citizen, 49-year-old Abbasov Babek Shukur oglu, and handed him over to the emergency medical team.
An investigation is being conducted by the relevant authorities regarding the incident.
