Today, a meeting of the Economic Council was held.

At the meeting of the Economic Council, held under the leadership of Prime Minister Ali Asadov, the agenda included detailed discussions on the work done for the organization of the activities of the Alat Free Economic Zone, urgent infrastructure issues needing resolution, strategic vision and development prospects, as well as the role of the Service sector in economic growth and its development potential, identified priority directions and proposals in the Service sector, and other current matters.
On the issues on the agenda, presentations were listened to by the Assistant to the President – Head of the Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy Department of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Shahmar Movsumov, and the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov. Members of the Economic Council and the Chairman of the Board of the Alat Free Economic Zone, Valeh Alasgarov, made speeches regarding the presented issues.
At the conclusion of the meeting, taking into account the opinions and proposals of the members of the Economic Council, relevant decisions were adopted and tasks were assigned to the respective bodies.
