With the "TələbəPlus" card, students will receive a 10% discount on public transportation.
The Education Development Fund informed "Khazar News" that within the framework of a project implementing certain discounts for students of higher education institutions in the country, special 10% transportation discounts are being prepared for students studying at all levels of bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs.

Medianews.az reports that through the "TəhsilPlus" card, a new discount mechanism is planned to be introduced in the coming months for those working as teachers in educational institutions, as well as for other administrative staff. According to preliminary agreements reached with "CityCard," special transportation discounts will be provided for "TəhsilPlus" card users.

Education experts sharing their views on the matter state that although the current 10% discount is a positive step, it does not provide a significant advantage for users. According to expert Rizvan Fikretoğlu, considering the current tariffs, a 10% discount means savings of only 6 qapiks per ride. This cannot be considered a substantial financial support for students and teachers who use public transportation daily.
It should be noted that the list of discounts provided to students via the "TələbəPlus" card includes special discounts, cashback, and promo codes in supermarkets, bookstores, clothing-accessories and perfume stores, cafes/restaurants, educational centers, online platforms, entertainment venues, and other places.
