Also Belgium “no” he said

Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever announced that the federal government's position is against participating in U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran.

Medianews.az, citing Qafqazinfo, reports that De Wever responded to journalists' questions about whether Belgium would participate in a possible military operation in the Strait of Hormuz after an event held in Brussels.

He stated that the federal government's position is not to participate in the operations against Iran by the U.S. and Israel. De Wever added that if there is any request from NATO allies or other countries in the region, this issue will be discussed.

The Prime Minister also responded to questions about Europe's normalization of relations with Russia. He noted that normalization can only be considered after a reasonable peace agreement is signed for the European Union and Ukraine:

"This is the goal after every war. Of course, you cannot remain enemies forever, can you?"

It should be noted that earlier, Germany's Defense Minister Boris Pistorius rejected U.S. President Donald Trump's call to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz, stating that the conflict with Iran is not Germany's war.
