Alternative to Botox "liquid facelift": Natural rejuvenation method

In recent years, a new method called "liquid face lifting" has become widespread in the field of aesthetics.

According to Medianews.az, dermatologist Leyla Elmas states that, unlike classic fillers, this procedure is not aimed at volumizing the face but at improving the quality and elasticity of the skin.

The specialist notes that during the procedure, biostimulatory substances that stimulate collagen production are injected under the skin. These substances activate the skin's self-repair mechanism, resulting in a natural, gradual, and long-lasting rejuvenation effect.

Among the most commonly used compounds are poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA), and poly-caprolactone (PCL). These substances enhance collagen synthesis creating tightening and firming effects on the skin. The effect usually appears within a few weeks and remains for a long duration.

The procedure takes approximately 20-30 minutes and is performed using a special cannula (a non-cutting special needle). Patients can return to their daily lives in a short time.

Leyla Elmas emphasizes that botox is not refused for forehead, glabellar (between the eyebrows), and periorbital (around the eyes) expression wrinkles. "Liquid face lifting" is mainly applied during sagging and loss of elasticity in the middle and lower parts of the face.

Specialists recommend the procedure only to be performed by qualified dermatologists and with an individualized approach. The goal is not to change the facial contours, but to restore the skin’s lost vitality and firmness.
