In Uganda, three more new cases of the dangerous Ebola fever have been detected, bringing the total number of infections in the country to five.
Medianews.az reports that this was stated in an official announcement published on the social media accounts of Uganda's Ministry of Health.
The ministry's statement noted that laboratory analyses confirmed three more cases of the virus. Two of them were individuals who had direct contact with the first infected person in the country. The other infection was identified in a citizen of the Democratic Republic of Congo currently in Uganda.
Health officials have urgently begun measures to identify and monitor other contacts to prevent the virus from spreading more widely.//Qafqazinfo
