At these hours outside DO NOT EXIT

"The concentration of dust particles in the air varies at different times of the day."

This was stated live by Gunay Aliyeva, a pulmonologist at the Ministry of Health's Scientific Research Institute of Lung Diseases.

According to her, the period from 05:00 to 10:00 has the highest dust particle activity, 10:00 to 16:00 is a relatively stable period, 16:00 to 20:00 are hours when concentration rises again, and 00:00 to 05:00 are the lowest concentration hours.

"For this reason, it is recommended that individuals with allergies spend less time outdoors during peak hours and use masks and sunglasses."

She also noted that changes in weather conditions can increase complaints in patients suffering from allergic rhinitis:

"Sometimes improvement is observed in rainy weather, while other times the condition worsens."

She stated that during rain, the amount of allergens in the air decreases, which temporarily reduces irritation in the respiratory tract:

"However, after the rain, the increase in humidity causes pollen grains to swell and break apart. As a result, these particles mix back into the air, potentially intensifying allergic complaints."
