Results of the graduation exam was announced

The results of the graduation exam held on March 9, 2026, at the level of complete (11-year) secondary education have been announced.

This information was provided to Medianews.az by the State Examination Center (DİM).

11th grade students who participated in the exam can check their exam results, graphical representation of the answer sheet, correct answers to closed-type questions, as well as the grading criteria for each open-ended written response task (including expected correct answers, solutions, grading scale, and writing samples) by using their exam ID number (8-digit student code) and identity document number (or FIN code) at the provided link. Exam participants can find their exam ID numbers here.

Students can also learn about their exam results (total score for each subject) by sending their “exam ID” (8-digit student code) via SMS to number 7727 through mobile operators (Azercell, Bakcell, Nar).

The process of checking written works (answers to open-ended questions) was carried out online. Each marker connected from their home and checked the works randomly assigned to them by the program on their computer. Note that facial recognition technology was applied during the online checking process, and all requirements of the checking process were followed (improving criteria, encrypting works, markers participating in calibration before checking each task, implementing the "seeding" process during the check to prevent markers from losing concentration by regularly sending pre-prepared and calibrated questions, random distribution of works to markers by the program, examination of exam protocols, etc.).

The software for online checking of written works was developed by experts from the State Examination Center.

Note that during the graduation exam, students are presented with a total of 85 tasks: in the teaching language subject, there are 10 open-ended tasks requiring written answers and 20 closed-ended tasks; in mathematics, 7 open-ended tasks requiring written answers, 5 coded open-ended tasks, and 13 closed-ended tasks; in the foreign language subject, 7 open-ended tasks requiring written answers and 23 closed-ended tasks. At this stage, the maximum score that can be accumulated for each subject is 100, making a total of 300 points. You can familiarize yourself with the scoring method in the file at this link.

Out of the 58,139 people scheduled to participate in this exam, 393 did not appear. 12 people were expelled from the exam for violating the exam rules.

Among the exam participants, two people—Aydın Çingiz oğlu Həsənli, a graduate of secondary school No. 1 in Ceyranbatan settlement of Absheron district, and Muhammedali Əhməd oğlu Qurbanov, a graduate of secondary school No. 289 ("Zəngi" lyceum) in Baku city—achieved the highest result by scoring 300 points.

Additionally, Mikayıl Elşən oğlu Fərəcov, a graduate of ADA school studying in English, achieved the highest result by scoring 200 points. Note that graduates of schools where instruction is provided in a different language take exams in 2 subjects (mathematics and foreign language), with a maximum possible score of 200.

The Appeals Commission will operate at the State Examination Center (DİM) for reviewing appeals regarding exam results. Those wishing to appeal can register by filling out the electronic application on the DİM website from April 20 at 10:00 until April 22 at 17:00. Those who do not register within the indicated period will not be able to appeal to the Appeals Commission later. In the electronic application, the number of the task being appealed must be selected, the content of the appeal must be written, and the relevant criterion section under which the appeal is assessed must be indicated. Applications with no content stated for the appeal will not be accepted and such appeals will not be reviewed. The appeal process is conducted in the following order:

The Appeals Commission reviews all works related to the appeal;

An expert opinion (in writing) on the appealed tasks is attached to the appeal applications;

A text message ("sms") informing about the completion of the appeal process is sent to the phone numbers indicated by the students in their appeal applications.

After that, students can access their applications on the website apelyasiya.dim.gov.az, review the results of the appeal, and print the expert opinion from there.

Appeals related to answers recorded in the answer sheet in a manner not compliant with the instructions, including corrections that result in the optical device mistakenly considering the answer incorrect (for example, shading two circles on a closed question, etc.) will not be considered.

Before applying to the Appeals Commission, students can review their results, graphical representation of the answer sheet, grading criteria for each open-ended task, as well as the tasks with explanations and comments on the DİM website on the exam results page (https://eservices.dim.gov.az/ejurnal/). Experience from previous exams shows that approximately 15% of applicants for appeals did not answer the task at all or applied to the commission without comparing their answers with possible correct answers and the grading scale. We inform applicants that such appeals will not be considered.
