Honored artist Nahidə Orucova has attracted attention with her statement.
Medianews.az citing Milli.Az reports that the actress, despite being in the art for many years, has complained about not being entrusted with leading roles. She stated that she has been active on stage for 47 years and during this period tried to progress step by step:
"I have never wanted to rise all of a sudden, I have always been an advocate of climbing step by step."
Nahidə Orucova noted that in theater there are mainly hero (leading) and character roles:
"I was given more roles that suited my character and physique. Honestly, I myself have kept away from leading roles."
The artist's words have sparked wide discussions on social networks. While some followers understood her views, others think that the actress should be more prominent.
