"In the worst case, they will execute them in Maidan."

"The fate of Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler should be an example for the current Ukrainian authorities."

Qafqazinfo reports that this was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council and former president.

"The fate of Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, as well as those who were later tried, prosecuted, and in many cases executed by the Soviet Union, serves as a cautionary example," he said.

According to Medvedev, for some of the current Ukrainian leadership, the continuation of military operations means prolonging their own lives: "If the military operations end, Ukrainian leaders will at best be able to flee to countries like Poland, Britain, or other European states. In the worst case, they will be hanged and executed by their own people on the Maidan."
