It is reported that Epstein knew as early as the 2000s that searches would be conducted in his house. Because of this, he hired private detectives and moved his belongings to warehouses located in various states.
According to journalists' investigation, the warehouses were used for the private island Little Saint James in the Caribbean Sea. The detectives were paid tens of thousands of dollars for this work.
Jeffrey Epstein (1953-2019) was an American financier and investor, but his name is more known worldwide in scandalous criminal cases related to the sexual exploitation of underage girls.
In the 1970s and 1980s, he worked as an investment advisor in the USA and accumulated great wealth by working with wealthy clients. Among Epstein's clients and associates were politicians, businessmen, and other celebrities.
In 2005, Epstein was investigated on charges of sexual abuse against underage girls in Florida. In 2008, he reached a controversial agreement with the prosecution, avoiding more severe federal charges and received a 13-month prison sentence. This agreement caused serious public dissatisfaction in the USA.
In July 2019, he was arrested again in New York. Federal charges of human trafficking and sexual abuse of underage girls were filed against Epstein. On August 10, 2019, Epstein's body was found in the prison where he was held in Manhattan. According to the official version, he committed suicide. However, many questions about the circumstances of the death and prison supervision, along with assassination allegations, sparked public discussions.
In January 2026, the US Department of Justice released millions of documents, numerous photos and video materials related to the "Epstein case." The "Epstein case" caused political and public resonance, especially with the names of high-ranking individuals in the USA and Great Britain being mentioned.
Investigation materials and court documents regarding Epstein’s activities and connections continue to be disclosed in phases, and discussions about the full scale of the case are ongoing.
