Some details of the stabbing incident that occurred among schoolchildren in Ganja have been revealed.
According to information received from the Ganja-Dashkasan Regional Education Department by Medianews.az,
it was reported that on April 29, a dispute took place between two students of Ganja city school number 9 in an area outside the school:
"During the dispute, one of the students injured the other. The matter was reported to law enforcement agencies, both students' parents were summoned to the school and preventive talks were held with them.
The physical and psychological condition of the students is being monitored by the school administration and the department. In addition, in order to manage stress and ensure the restoration of a healthy psychological environment, the school administration was instructed to conduct educational discussions with the students and the teaching staff. An investigation is being conducted by law enforcement agencies regarding the incident. Considering that the children are in adolescence and that the investigation process is ongoing, we also ask the public to be more sensitive on this issue and to refer to the official statements of the authorities in their posts."
