The name of the person likely to be officially approved for the position of Head of the Personnel Main Department has been revealed.
According to information obtained by Medianews.az, this person is Major General Azər Heybətli.
According to the information, he is currently temporarily performing the duties of the head of the mentioned Main Department.
It should be noted that Major General Müşfiq Məmmədov, the head of the Ministry of Defense's Personnel Main Department, was dismissed from his position in April.
Recall that Major General Azər Heybətli is one of the officers represented in the command staff of the Azerbaijani Army. Throughout various stages of his military service, he served as a platoon commander, company commander, and in other command positions. Azər Heybətli is a graduate of the Heydar Aliyev Azerbaijan Higher Military School.
According to information from open sources, he served for a period as Azerbaijan's military attaché in the United Kingdom. Currently, he is performing the duties of the head of the Ministry of Defense's Personnel Main Department.
