New information about General Süleyman Neymətov

On July 2, information spread on the Azerbaijani segment of social networks that the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Suleyman Neymatov, was awarded the highest special rank of police lieutenant general, and on the same day, several users congratulated him on this occasion.

On July 3, the news also appeared in the country's online media. First, the Gununsesi.info website reported that President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree awarding Suleyman Neymatov the rank of police lieutenant general. It was noted that the decree was signed on July 2, Azerbaijan Police Day.

Medianews.az reports that some decrees regarding the awarding of the highest special ranks to officers in the country may not be published in the official press.

For example, when Suleyman Neymatov was first awarded a general rank on June 25, 2023, the decree signed by the head of state about this was not announced to the public. Only five days later – on June 30, when Suleyman Neymatov participated in an official event wearing a general's uniform, journalists learned that the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic had been awarded the highest special rank of police major general.

In this regard, there is no doubt that Suleyman Neymatov's participation in one of the upcoming events will turn into another news in our media.
