The National Statistics Service of Georgia has released an inflation report.
Medianews.az reports that, according to the official data, consumer prices in April increased by 5.9 percent compared to the same month in 2025. Price increases in transportation were 10.3 percent, in food and non-alcoholic beverages 7.5 percent, in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, as well as in communal services 6.5 percent, and in clothing and footwear 2.9 percent.
It is reported that prices for telecommunication services have decreased by 4 percent, and for furniture and household items by 2.4 percent.
