The National Statistics Service of Georgia has released an inflation report.
Medianews.az reports that according to the official data, consumer prices increased by 4.6 percent in February compared to the same month in 2025. The increase in food and non-alcoholic beverages is 9.5 percent, 4.3 percent in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, and 0.2 percent in communal services.
It is reported that health services increased by 5.9 percent, educational services by 2.1 percent, transportation services by 0.9 percent, hotel and public catering services by 7.2 percent, communication services decreased by 4.6 percent, furniture and household items by 2.7 percent, clothing and footwear by 0.2 percent, and recreation and cultural services by 2.1 percent.
