At least 10 people have died as a result of a warehouse collapse in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal state in India.
Medianews.az reports that emergency services have started a search operation by investigating the rubble of the collapsed warehouse. Rescuers are using military ground radar systems to search for people trapped under the debris. With their help, 20 workers trapped under the rubble have been found alive. Some of them are in serious condition.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred due to non-compliance with safety rules during the warehouse construction. The police have arrested the building owner, and a criminal case has been opened regarding the collapse.//Unikal
