Iran closes the Hormuz Strait to all shipping.
Medianews.az reports that this was announced by the Central Command of the Khatam al-Anbiya of the Iranian army.
It is noted that the strait is closed to all types of vessels passing through, including oil tankers and commercial ships. Any ship attempting to pass through Hormuz will be attacked.
The Iranian command explained the closure of the strait by the "continuation of US atrocities" and the attack of American forces on some southern regions of Hormozgan province.
