Rainy weather conditions continue in some mountainous and foothill regions of Azerbaijan, occasionally accompanied by lightning and heavy showers.
Medianews.az reports that this information was noted in the data from the National Hydrometeorology Service as of 10:00 on June 11.
The amount of precipitation recorded is 22 mm in Dashkasan, 14 mm in Shamkir, 13 mm in Gadabay, 11 mm in Tovuz and Kishchay (Sheki), 8 mm in Goranboy, 6 mm in Goygol, 5 mm in Qakh and Yevlakh, 4 mm in Oghuz, 3 mm in Shahbuz, Mingachevir, Agstafa, Zaqatala, Zardab, Tartar, Yardimli, 2 mm in Ordubad, Agdam, Balakan, and up to 1 mm in Sadarak, Sharur, Julfa, Barda, Ganja, Imishli, Gabala, Shahdagh, Khinaliq, Qusar, Griz, Goychay, Naftalan, Kalbajar, Lachin, Shusha, Khankendi, Khojaly, and Fizuli.
On June 10 at around 20:10, hail with a diameter of 18 mm fell in Kalbajar district; from 21:23 to 21:30 in Gadabay district; at around 21:12 in the villages of DuzYurd, Aytala, Gerger, Qarikend, Yenikend, Maarif, Qaradag, Ariqdam in the district; from 22:05 to 22:07 in Dashkasan district with hail diameter of 15 mm, also in the villages of Gushchu and Khoshbulaq; at around 22:20 in Gazakh district; and small-sized hail fell in Goygol district in the early morning hours of June 11.
