Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, extended his condolences to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Commander of the Pakistan Armed Forces' Land Forces – Chief of Defense Staff.
Medianews.az reports that the Ministry of Defense released a statement regarding this matter.
The condolence message states: "I was deeply saddened to hear the news about the crash of a Pakistan Army’s MI-17 helicopter near Muzaffarabad city due to a technical malfunction and the death of the crew members.
I pray for mercy upon those who lost their lives in the aviation accident, share the pain of their relatives, and express my deepest condolences to their families with profound sorrow.
May God have mercy on them."
It should be recalled that the day before yesterday, a military aviation "Mi-17" helicopter crashed in Pakistan, and all persons on board died.
