There has been a new appointment at the State Agency of Automobile Roads of Azerbaijan (AAYDA).
Medianews.az reports to unikal.az that the chairman of the AAYDA board, Vusal Nasirli, has signed an order in this regard.
According to the order, Mahmud Mammadaliyev has been appointed as the advisor to the chairman of the AAYDA board.
Prior to this appointment, he was the head of the Economy Department of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
The newly appointed advisor M. Mammadaliyev is the brother-in-law of AAYDA chairman Vusal Nasirli. It should be noted that Vusal Nasirli was appointed head of AAYDA about 2 months ago - on February 6, 2026.
Another interesting point is that Mahmud Mammadaliyev was appointed head of a department at the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population in 2019, precisely when Vusal Nasirli was the deputy minister of labor and social protection of population.
