Renowned Turkish actor Zafer Ergin has been hospitalized due to a health problem.
Medianews.az reports, citing haberler.com, that the 83-year-old actor suddenly felt unwell at home and was urgently taken to the hospital.
During initial medical examinations, doctors considered the possibility of a blood vessel blockage and began treatment.
After the actor was hospitalized, his previously filmed footage surfaced again on social networks. In the shots recorded on the set, the actor’s tired and weak appearance drew attention.
Zafer Ergin has been known for many years for his role as Rıza Baba in the "Arka Sokaklar" series. He is also remembered for his role as Mehmet Karahanlı in the "Kurtlar Vadisi" series.
The actor’s wife, Binnaz Ergin, made a statement about his health. She said that Zafer Ergin’s body was dehydrated and infection markers were high. Currently, the actor’s condition is stable, and examinations continue for monitoring purposes. Zafer Ergin plans to return to the shooting set on Wednesday.
