Turkey's former foreign minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu's brother Aydın Çavuşoğlu passed away after a armed attack he suffered 12 days ago.
Medianews.az reports, citing Musavat.com, that A.Çavuşoğlu was injured in a shooting at an office located at a gas station in the Alanya district.
He was immediately taken to the hospital, underwent emergency surgery, and was placed in the intensive care unit.
At the time of the incident, his brother Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who was abroad, urgently cut his trip short and returned to Turkey.
