The well-known theologian Nihat Hatipoğlu reacted harshly to a question posed by a young viewer during the pre-dawn meal (sahur) program. The question asked live, "Is it a sin to talk to a 'red flag' woman?" created tension in the studio.
According to Demokrat.az, the theologian first objected to the extent to which foreign terms have entered our language. He emphasized the importance of using clear expressions that everyone can understand in religious and moral matters. Hatipoğlu noted that the main measure in relationships is not foreign concepts but national values, family structure, and moral norms.
After the young viewer explained his question, the theologian stated that it is not right to get close to people exhibiting harmful behaviors. He advised staying away from relationships that do not align with family values. Nevertheless, Hatipoğlu noted that if there is no serious negativity involved, it is more appropriate to seek a solution by talking rather than approaching with preconceived judgments.
