They have 7 manats, while we have 25 qəpik – The price of coriander sparked a debate.

The price of coriander in Istanbul, Turkey has caused extensive discussion on social networks.

Medianews.az, citing Musavat.com, reports that the information was shared by journalist Derya Nur Jafarova, who lives in that country. According to her, the price of a packaged bunch of coriander is 7 manat 10 qepik in Azerbaijani currency. The journalist noted that it is almost impossible to find this product for less than 7 manats.

Interestingly, different prices were also mentioned in the comments. Some users stated that in Ankara city, a bunch of coriander is offered for about 60 qepiks, and its kilogram costs 5 manats.

The difference in prices appears more striking compared to Azerbaijan. In Azerbaijan, the price of a bunch of coriander is only 25 qepiks. This means it is many times cheaper compared to Istanbul.
