Clashes occurred between protesters and security forces before the protest planned to be held tomorrow in Azad Kashmir under the Pakistani administration.
Medianews.az reports that 11 people, including 4 police officers, died in the clashes, and 23 others were injured. It is suspected that the incidents stemmed from reactions to the parliamentary seats allocated in the legislative body before the elections.
JAAC opposes the allocation of 12 out of 45 parliamentary seats in the parliament for refugees.
The committee demands the cancellation of the seats allocated for candidates living in regions outside Kashmir in Pakistan.
