"Qarabağ" club due to Maksim Medvedev's protest was fined
The final decision regarding the scandalous "Qarabağ-2" - "Sabah-2" match held in the XXI round of the Reserve League has been announced.
Medianews.az reports that the relevant decision was made by the Disciplinary Committee of AFFA.
According to the information, "Qarabağ-2" head coach Maksim Medvedev strongly protested the referee's decisions in the 43rd minute of the game and withdrew his team from the field. After a short break, the team returned to the pitch and the match continued.
This incident did not go unpunished, and appropriate disciplinary action was taken. According to the committee's decision, the "Qarabağ-2" team was fined 1000 manat.
It should be noted that the penalties were not limited to only the Aghdam club. Measures were also taken against "Sabah-2" for damaging the locker room after the game. The material damage caused to the arena's property will be fully compensated by the Masazir representative.
