If "Qarabağ" advances to the Round of 16 (March 10-18), they will face either "Barcelona" (Spain) or "Chelsea" (England).
Founded in 1951 in the city of Agdam, the "Qarabağ" team (which has also carried the names "Məhsul," "Şəfəq," "Kooperator") has been the champion of the Azerbaijan SSR once, the independent Azerbaijan champion 12 times, and has won the Azerbaijan Cup 8 times.
