There has been a change in the head coach of the Ukraine national team. The team's coach, Sergey Rebrov, has resigned from his position.
Medianews.az reports that the Ukrainian Football Association has announced this. It was stated that the parties ended their cooperation by mutual agreement.
It is noted that in 2023, Rebrov led the national team through a tough playoff stage to qualify for the European Championship. Nevertheless, the team's failure to advance to the World Cup was one of the main factors for this decision.
The president of the Association, Andryi Shevchenko, thanked the specialist for his contributions to the development of young players and emphasized that transitioning to a new phase is important at this time.
According to information, Sergey Rebrov will continue his activities within the organization – he will work as vice-president and a member of the Executive Committee. The identity of the new head coach of the Ukraine national team has not yet been announced.//Milli.Az
