Russia's "export artery" has been cut off: Ust-Luga port WAS STRUCK

The Ust-Luga port in Russia's Leningrad region has been damaged again as a result of an attack with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

Medianews.az reports that this information was released by the regional head, Alexander Drozdenko.

"38 UAVs have been destroyed over the Leningrad region... Three residents required medical assistance, two of whom are children," the governor stated on his social media account.

Drozdenko confirmed that the Ust-Luga port was damaged. According to him, due to the fall of UAV debris in the Molodtsovo settlement of the Kirov district, residential houses, a school building, and a social facility were damaged.

It should be noted that this is not the first strike on Ust-Luga in recent days. Several attacks conducted between March 25 and 29 have disabled part of the infrastructure of one of Russia's key export hubs in the Baltic Sea. Specifically, terminal facilities, reservoirs, and a railway overpass intended for unloading petroleum products in Ust-Luga were damaged.

After the incident, the terminal stopped accepting some of the cargo, and emergency services had to extinguish a strong fire.

Against the backdrop of attacks on Primorsk, Ust-Luga, and other locations, at least 40% of Russia's export oil efforts (approximately 2 million barrels per day) have been put at risk./Musavat.com
