If the new US leadership presents itself as a pragmatic partner, it is open to lifting the sanctions against Iran.
Medianews.az reports that "The New York Times" newspaper published a quote from Donald Trump.
At the same time, the newspaper noted that he refused to clarify whether he supports those trying to overthrow the current Iranian regime in any way.
The publication quoted Trump's words: "I do not take any commitments in one way or another; it is still early. We have things to do and we have done this very well. I would say that we are well ahead of schedule."
It is worth recalling that on February 28, the US and Israel launched a military operation against Iran. Large Iranian cities, including Tehran, were hit. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the elite unit of the Iranian Armed Forces, announced a large-scale counter-operation.
