Kiev demands money and technology in exchange for its assistance to Middle Eastern countries in defending against Iran's kamikaze drones.
According to Medianews.az, this was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to journalists.
He said that Ukraine has already sent specialists to four countries in the region: “They can assess the situation on site, as well as demonstrate how defense systems against unmanned aerial vehicles should operate.”
Zelensky emphasized that Kiev sees this cooperation not merely as military aid, but as a partnership based on mutual benefit. According to him, the countries of the region can benefit from the experience Ukraine has gained during wartime.
During the war, especially after facing attacks from Iranian-made kamikaze drones, Ukraine has accumulated extensive experience in defending against unmanned aerial systems. Official Kiev believes this experience can help strengthen the defense capabilities of Middle Eastern countries as well.
According to Zelensky, the expert support provided by Ukraine includes both technical assessment and explanation of the establishment and use of defense systems. Within the framework of this cooperation, Kiev expects financial and technological collaboration from the other side.
