Zəminə Nəcəfova, Associate Professor of the "Folk Musical Instruments" Department at Nakhchivan State University and Honored Teacher, has passed away.
Medianews.az reports that Zəminə Məhərrəm qızı Nəcəfova was born in 1969 in the city of Nakhchivan.
She graduated from Nakhchivan Secondary Specialized Music School in 1988, and from the Azerbaijan State Conservatory in 1993 with a specialization in kamancha.
Z. Nəcəfova started her career in music education. From 1991 to 2017, she worked as a kamancha teacher at Nakhchivan Music College. At the same time, since 2001, she was active at Nakhchivan State University. At the university, she first worked as a teacher, from 2008 as a senior teacher, and from 2012 as an associate professor.
Having served in pedagogical activity for many years, Zəminə Nəcəfova was known for her contributions to the development of music education. In 2015, she was awarded the honorary title "Honored Teacher of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic." //Musavat.com
