The largest shoe has been produced in the city of Bolu, Turkey.

The project was prepared by Ahmet Çetinkaya and his students. The team was inspired by a large boot they saw in Germany and carried out this project.
According to the information, a mold was made from styrofoam and plaster during the production of the shoe, and leather material was used on it. The sole was made from very hard, thick, and durable leather specially prepared with plants and chemicals from the skin of large horned animals (ox, buffalo, cow).
Ahmet Çetinkaya stated that although the goal was to make a larger sized shoe, size 222 was achieved with the existing means. According to him, this product is theoretically the largest wearable shoe.
