Three young girls died as a result of a lightning strike in Uganda. Medianews.az reports that the incident occurred on May 3 in the Kabale district located in the western part of the country. During a heavy rainstorm and lightning, two 13-year-old schoolgirls and the 4-year-old sister of one of them were hiding in the kitchen of a house when lightning struck the building. The children died at the scene. School authorities and the local community have received the tragedy with deep sorrow. Due to the bad weather conditions, it became difficult to establish contact with the relevant authorities.
