Heavy [news/development] from AFFA to "Neftçi" punished

AFFA Disciplinary Committee has announced the penalties.

Medianews.az reports that the decisions were made at the Committee's meeting held today.

On April 17, 2026, in the XXVIII round match of the Misli Premier League "Zirə" – "Neftçi", since 5 players from the "Zirə" team received yellow cards, the "Zirə" team shall be fined 700 manats (article 43.1); on April 17, 2026, in the XXVIII round match "Zirə" – "Neftçi" of the Misli Premier League, at the 90+6th minute, since the coach of "Zirə" team, Ağabala Ramazanov, violated the technical zone rules and received a direct red card, he shall be suspended for 1 game, and the "Zirə" team shall be fined 2000 manats (article 47.2);

On April 17, 2026, after the XXVIII round "Zirə" – "Neftçi" match of the Misli Premier League, as the referee's vehicle was damaged in the stadium area and this incident occurred for the first time this season, the "Zirə" team shall be fined 3000 manats. The damage shall be compensated by the "Zirə" team (article 86.3);

On April 17, 2026, in the XXVIII round "Zirə" – "Neftçi" match of the Misli Premier League, since 5 players from the "Neftçi" team received yellow cards, the "Neftçi" team shall be fined 700 manats (article 43.1);

On April 17, 2026, in the XXVIII round "Zirə" – "Neftçi" match of the Misli Premier League, at the 90+8th minute, since the head coach of the "Neftçi" team, Yuri Vernidub, protested the referee's decision and received a direct red card, he shall be suspended for 1 game, and the "Neftçi" team shall be fined 5000 manats (articles 51.1, 11.3);

On April 17, 2026, after the XXVIII round "Zirə" – "Neftçi" match of the Misli Premier League, since the "Neftçi" team's coach Dmitro Kara Mustafa protested the referee's decision and received a direct red card, he shall be suspended for 1 game, and the "Neftçi" team shall be fined 5000 manats (articles 51.1, 11.3);

On April 17, 2026, in the XXVIII round "Zirə" – "Neftçi" match of the Misli Premier League, at the 90+5th minute, since the player number 33 of "Neftçi", Breno Almeyda, received a direct red card, he shall be suspended for 1 game, and the "Neftçi" team shall be fined 3000 manats (articles 45.1, 11.3);

On April 17, 2026, in the XXVIII round "Zirə" – "Neftçi" match of the Misli Premier League, since the fans of the "Neftçi" team collectively voiced insulting expressions towards the referees and this is the 7th occurrence this season, the "Neftçi" team shall be fined 8000 manats (article 52.5);

On April 17, 2026, in the XXVIII round "Zirə" – "Neftçi" match of the Misli Premier League, since "Neftçi" team fans threw foreign objects onto the pitch and this is the 5th occurrence this season, the "Neftçi" team shall be fined 4500 manats (article 86.3)//Bakıvaxtı.az
