U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that drones will be placed on the roof of the new banquet hall being constructed on the White House grounds.
Milli.Az reports that Trump told journalists about this at the White House.
According to him, the building has been specially designed for the defense of Washington.
"The roof has been fully prepared so that soldiers can be stationed there. Snipers will have a comprehensive view of Washington," Trump noted.
The U.S. president said that the roof will also serve as a platform for drones and will be able to accommodate an "unlimited number of unmanned devices."
Trump added that "bulletproof steel" and "bulletproof glass" are being used in the construction.
"Even if a drone hits the roof, it will bounce back and cause no damage," he said.
