Medianews.az - according to the information, the newlywed couple decided who would do the household chores by wrestling in the ring instead of the traditional wedding program.
According to the rule, the loser of the competition had to deal with household chores for life. The idea of the wedding was conceived by professional wrestler He Yingshen from Zunyi city, Guizhou province.
He organized the wedding ceremony in one of the hotels and replaced the classic wedding stage with a wrestling ring. A special match was held in the ring under the slogan "Groom vs Bride."
The newlyweds led their own teams in a three-round competition. First, professional wrestlers performed presenting various show numbers to the guests.
During the main match, the bride took the advantage. She dodged the groom's attacks and knocked him down with a professional move. The referee declared the bride's victory and stated that she was "exempted from lifelong household chores."
Later, the groom admitted in an interview with local media that the defeat was planned: "Of course, I had to lose in the end. I wouldn’t want her to do the housework."
The couple stated that this idea also aimed to reduce wedding expenses. Instead of spending money on ordinary music and dance programs, a wrestling show was organized at the wedding.
About 300 guests attended the wedding. The footage spreading on social networks attracted users’ interest. Some people humorously commented, "Can we buy a ticket for this wedding?"
