Today, around 16:00, a collapse occurred on the bridge section of the Baku-Ələt highway passing through the Qobustan settlement.
Medianews.az, citing "Qafqazinfo," reports that during the incident a truck fell into the collapsed section.
A major traffic jam has formed in the area as a result of the incident.
In response to our inquiry, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads (AAYDA) stated that their employees have already been deployed to the site:
"Safety measures have been taken at the scene and a team of experts has been sent. After the investigation, the damage caused to the bridge will be determined and appropriate measures will be taken."
